Summer shouldn’t be the hungriest time of year.

Keep kids fed year-round through the Free Summer Meals program and Summer EBT.

Free Summer Meals

Free meals are available for all kids and teens in your neighborhood this summer.

SUN Bucks

Families receive $120 per eligible child to purchase groceries over the summer.

More than 700,000 students in Washington receive free meals during the school year. But when the school year ends, youth lose access to the school meals they rely on. Summer nutrition programs are designed to replace school meals during summer vacation.

Starting in Summer 2024, families can access two summer programs: Free Summer Meals and SUN Bucks (also known as Summer EBT). These programs are designed to work together to meet kids’ needs during the summer.

Combined, the Free Summer Meals program and SUN Bucks can end summer hunger in our state.
